The Mirror of Her Dreams - Stephen R. Donaldson

Finished the book.  Still not sure what I think about it.  In many ways a lovely epic fantasy, but with some serious issues with women.  At first I liked the idea of someone who didn't believe they were real, but she made for one of the most overwhelmingly passive protagonists I've ever encountered, and the way several men interacted with her really bothers me.  Though at least one is reacting in part because he feels she is a threat.  The other is constantly trying to thrall and seduce her as a means of power and manipulation that she is overwhelming compliant to.  Also some of the big suspense points were incredibly obvious, like they specifically talked about the relevant details, then completely forgot those same details when trying to figure out the threat.  Even when the original conversation was about weaknesses/threat
