Troll: A Love Story - Herbert Lomas, Johanna Sinisalo

I'm not even sure where to start reviewing this one.  The summary on the book page does the book no justice and fails to capture the feeling of the setting.


Compulsively engaging and strangely vulnerable.


Certain story elements are not surprising, the pieces clearly laid towards them, but they aren't the twists that are meant to take you off guard.



I'm curious how the original stands against the translation - any of the Finnish reader's here familiar with this one?
