I mean every shop has entry level positions... but actual mechanics i don't think are generally considered "minimum-wage schlubs."
though i suppose there are people with that opinion, and it is starting to feel like the author is one of them... beyond the fact that she's writing deliberately shallow and bitchy characters to be trash talking. maybe i'm completely wrong on that one b/c i have a decent familiarity with how well a lot of manual trades earn.
