just got the audio book in yesterday (good timing, I had finished The Gunslinger on my drive to work).
good thing: read by Simon Vance
bad thing: in the near future i'm going to need to go through over fifty editions on this record and see how many duplicates or junk records there are.
current annoyance: did she just imply the Lestat's blind father can't tell the difference between night and day? seriously? there's way more to differentiate night from day than what you can see.
so far the narrative matches my fuzzy recollections of a movie i saw some 20 years ago pretty well. Cruise really was a great casting for Lestat (which I suppose is both a compliment and an insult).
