Dark Currents: Agent of Hel - Jacqueline Carey
Totally not what I expected from Jacqueline Carey, very different than the story telling and feel of the Kushiel and Nammah books. Carey has written a delightful Urban Fantasy novel that is a lighter read than the intrigue and court-settings of what I've read by her before, but not so light as to be unsatisfying as often is the risk in the genere today. This book also is not a romance novel, though there are sparks of interest between characters nothing is pursued to relationship or intimacy, just the opportunity for future entanglements.
