The Neverending Story - Michael Ende, Ralph Manheim, Roswitha Quadflieg
I REALLY like the first half of the book, the second half I have trouble maintaining interest for a good period of it. This may be in part because Sebastian becomes Jesus (there are very close parallels in his adventures to many of those in the New Testament) and he is most interesting as a character when he is discovering things not telling the world what he wishes it to be.
