I feel like the author went "you know what the Labrynth needs? for the heroine to be even more of a special flower and a love triangle."
not hating on it, just not loving it. probably a 2.5 star.
wouldn't mind a little more subtly in plot hinting. i mean, "robbie goodfell"? though considering the fact that iron makes fey feel poorly is apparently a surprise perhaps the target audience is not those familiar with fey lore?
